If you’re looking for upcoming drawing workshops, click here.
I will be holding a one day workshop for beginners to intermediates in the Methodist Church hall on Brighton Road, Rathgar on May 14th, 28th and on June 18th.
This one day workshop will concentrate the basics of good drawing practice. Drawing is a vital skill that not only provides a solid basis for your painting but also a way of expressing and evaluating ideas. Besides all that, it’s an enjoyable pastime! Using pencil, charcoal and chalk, you will start the day drawing simple objects, moving on to more complex arrangements and working towards trying self portraits. Finally, there will be a 1.5 hour session drawing from a live model. Attendees will be encouraged and mentored in a convivial atmosphere. Drawing paper, drawing boards, chairs and tables are provided. Materials you will need to bring: Easel (if you prefer to stand) soft pencils (4B-8B) and soft willow charcoal. Tea and coffee provided. Kitchen and toilet facilities available. To see a breakdown of the topics covered, and to secure a place, please visit the workshop pages: Saturday May 14th, Saturday May 28th., and Saturday June 18th. 10am -4.30pm with hour’s break for lunch [not provided].

Your info reached me to late, but please include me on your mailing list so I might attend one of your future classes
