For me Kevin offers the perfect balance of challenge and encouragement. The atmosphere in the classes is one of good fun and is easy and relaxed. The small class numbers allows Kevin to spend time with each person individually as well as having time for a demonstration and discussion about general things e.g. brush care, styles of painting, etc. With every class, I seem to learn something new and I know my painting has improved.

Kevin's classes are a really good way of experimenting with oil painting for the beginner. Small canvases and still life subjects allow you to progressivly acquire the basic skills that can be used to move on to tackle any size of painting and any subject matter in the future. Kevins classes are laid back and relaxed, but at the same time structured and informative.
