Making a Unique Christmas Gift
Saturday, 10th November and repeated Sat. 1st December 2012. Level: Beginner to intermediate.

In one day, we will produce a 7″x 7″ painting in acrylics on gessoed board. Then we’ll varnish it and frame it ready for wrapping. A One-of-a-Kind present.
What will we paint?
Whatever you like, within reason: See the examples above; I’ll have photgraphic refereces available and I’ll be on hand to guide you and keep you on track. The important thing is to create something that you’ll be happy with.
Will my painting be ready to take home?
The acrylics will dry in time for the whole project to be varnished and finished within the day and you can take home a unique, personal and original gift for someone important to you.
What’s included?
One frame, one gessoed painting panel and all the paint will be supplied. (Subsequent gessoed panels are available at cost if you need more)
What do I need to bring?
Your best synthetic brushes (and a Stay-Wet palette if you have one. If not, don’t worry too much -we can improvise). If you need more information, call me on 086 247 0737
How many in the class?
15 places maximum.
Where will it be?
To be decided. If there are six applicants or fewer, we’ll use my studio, otherwise, it’ll be at the Rathgar Methodist Hall on Brighton Road, Rathgar.
What time and should I bring lunch?
10AM to 4.30PM [with one hour break for lunch]. Lunch is not provided, however, there are several cafés nearby.
Does it matter what level I’m at?
The class is aimed at anything from a complete beginner to those with an intermediatorary level. The classes are relaxed and fun.
I’m already thirsty. How about coffee or tea?
There’ll be plenty of free coffee and tea.
